How to get tattooed, the fun and easy way.

You must be 18 or older to get a tattoo. (Some artists may tattoo minors between 16-18, upon consultation, parent and minor photo ID, and birth certificate. Call ahead at any shop to ask about our artists who tattoo minors.)

It’s always best to have recently eaten an hour or two before getting tattooed.

Bring a state ID or Passport. We can accept the paper vouchers from the BMV, but not expired IDs. WE CANNOT ACCEPT COPIES OR PICTURES FROM A PHONE.

We accept Credit, Debit, Cash, and Apple Pay at all 3 locations.

We generally can’t make appointments over the phone, as appointments are usually set for larger pieces that require in-person consultation—but always feel free to stop in at any location if you have designs you would like us to look at, no matter how big or small!

If you are looking for a particular style, you can click or tap on the artists’ name below, and it will take you to their professional Instagram, where you can browse their portfolios.

Walk-Ins Are Always Welcome.

As a general guideline, walk-ins are usually palm-sized or smaller. The shop minimum is $80 plus fees and Aftercare. Each design is priced by the piece, by the artist on staff. The best way to get a quote is to stop in any of our three locations with the design or idea, and the artist can give you a price.

Appointments and Consultations.

Larger designs are priced by the hour, which is generally $200/hour. (Please note that Bee is $250/hour.) This is usually for arm and leg sleeves, back pieces, etc. If you are looking to get a larger design, please come in for a consultation to schedule an appointment.

Deposits are required and non-refundable, which comes off the final price of the tattoo. DEPOSITS ARE NOT DRAWING FEES. THEY ARE TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT WITH THAT ARTIST, ON THE AGREED TIME AND DATE. Artists will be happy to reschedule with you if you cannot make your appointment, as long as you contact them 24 hours prior. If you are looking for a specific artist or style, please feel welcome to browse the artist’s Instagram profiles by simply clicking on the artist’s name below. You can always message them on IG, or call the shops directly to see when they will be available for a consultation.

Aftercare

  • It is recommended that you keep your bandage on for no more than 12 hours. As soon as you are able to, wash your tattoo with Hot running water, as HOT as you are able to stand, without scalding yourself. Hot water helps pull out the plasma from the area, and reduces healing time/scabbing. Pat dry with something clean and disposable, such as a paper towel.

  • Only use fragrance free, antibacterial soap, such as Dial gold, on your tattoo.

  • After 3 days, apply a small amount of INSCRIB’D to your tattoo.

  • Repeat this process 2 times a day for the next 2 weeks, or until your tattoo is healed. NEVER re-wrap your tattoo.

  • During this time, DO NOT SUBMERGE YOUR TATTOO IN WATER. No baths, hot tubs, or swimming.

  • You may experience an itch while your tattoo is healing. DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH YOUR TATTOO. You can pat-slap or apply INSCRIB’D to the area to relieve the itch.

  • Avoid exposing your tattoo to pet hair as well, as dander can cause infection.

  • Failure to follow these instructions will void any guarantee or free touch-ups from the original artist.

Tattoo Aftercare Instructions!

Leave the tattoo bandages on for at least 2-12 hours.

Gently wash your new tattoo with HOT water and a liquid, anti-bacterial soap only.

Gently dry with clean, disposable materials, such as paper towels.

After every washing, apply a small amount of Inscribed Aftercare or non-scented/fragrance free lotion until it disappears. More lotion does not result in faster healing. It will only deprive the skin of the oxygen it needs to heal.

Repeat this process 2 times a day for the next two weeks, or until your tattoo has fully healed.

During the healing time, DO NOT submerge your tattoo in water. No baths, hot tubs, swimming, or water parks. Showers are fine.

You may experience an itch while your tattoo is healing. DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH your tattoo. Picking at it may pull out the ink.

You can pat-slap or apply non-scented lotion to relieve the itch.

Avoid exposing your tattoo to pet hair as dander can cause infection.

DO NOT use Neo-Sporin or any petroleum-based products on your tattoo, ever.

All of our work is guaranteed. If your tattoo needs a touch-up, you may call to schedule one with your artist. Failure to follow these instructions will void any guarantee.
